Seed Group open singing session, August 29 + Parvathy Baul, August 30

On Wednesday, August 29, we will hold a special session of the NYC Seed Group, open to all (and free). We will gather for refreshments starting at 7:15pm; singing will begin soon afterwards and run until around 9pm. Feel free to participate by watching or singing and dancing with us, as we lead through a series of songs drawn primarily from U.S. traditions.

The session will take place in The Balcony Theatre of the second floor of The Center at West Park in Manhattan.

It will be followed, the next night, by a rare U.S. performance by Parvathy Baul, master performer in the ancient Baul tradition from Bengal, at The Center at West Park – Thursday, August 30 at 7:30pm. Tickets and more info HERE.

Thank you!

To all of the friends old and new that joined us during the past two months of Open Choirs and other events — and to our friends from West-Park Presbyterian who hosted myriad events, our friends from St. Augustine who continue to shower us with their generosity and wisdom, and our friends from the Open Program who have now flown our coop: Thank you for singing with us, talking with us, eating with us… We look forward to the next time around.
