On Wednesday, August 29, we will hold a special session of the NYC Seed Group, open to all (and free). We will gather for refreshments starting at 7:15pm; singing will begin soon afterwards and run until around 9pm. Feel free to participate by watching or singing and dancing with us, as we lead through a series of songs drawn primarily from U.S. traditions.
The session will take place in The Balcony Theatre of the second floor of The Center at West Park in Manhattan.
It will be followed, the next night, by a rare U.S. performance by Parvathy Baul, master performer in the ancient Baul tradition from Bengal, at The Center at West Park – Thursday, August 30 at 7:30pm. Tickets and more info HERE.

Open Program at the Andrew Freedman Home: Living Culture in Action
Our friends from across the pond are back in NYC for more Open Choirs and other events at the Andrew Freedman Home and West-Park Presbyterian Church. The first Open Choir starts this Wednesday, October 5th at West-Park @ 7pm in the big sanctuary. We hope the see you there!

There will also be performances of THE HIDDEN SAYINGS, a potluck welcome called BREAKING BREAD, free classes at the Andrew Freedman Home called the OPEN PROGRAM STUDIO, a film screening, and we are reviving the successful ONE DAY – A FESTIVAL from last fall, to bring together communities and music and dance under one roof!
